The product is a yellowish or light brown ointment with a characteristic odor.
Pharmacological action:
The product has anti-inflammatory, local pain-relieving, and antiseptic properties. The ointment removes necrotic tissues, cleanses the wound of plaque, promotes epithelial tissue regeneration and granulation tissue development, and accelerates the healing process.
Indications:
The product is used in complex therapy:
For the treatment of bedsores, both macerated and advanced cases, in the presence of infected and necrotic tissue.
For purulent-inflammatory processes of the lower extremities, which develop against the background of various diseases (obliterating endarteritis, diabetic angiopathies, obliterating atherosclerosis), trophic ulcers, diabetic foot, and diabetic wounds.
Method of use and dosage:
After treating the damaged surface of the wound (bedsore, ulcer) with an antiseptic solution, apply a gauze pad soaked in the ointment (preferably) or a triple-layer bandage on the wound surface. For deep wounds, the ointment is used in the form of tampons. Dressing replacement is recommended once every 24 hours.
